If you’ve scrolled through UAE home décor accounts on Instagram or TikTok in the last two years, you’ve seen the Coffee Corner cabinet. The giant coffee-cup shaped display unit has become a statement piece in UAE villas and apartments — and demand has only grown since.
What Is a Coffee Corner Cabinet?
The Coffee Corner cabinet is a freestanding display unit shaped like an oversized coffee cup. It typically features:
- A large base (the “cup”) with open shelving for displaying coffee capsules, canisters, mugs and accessories
- A curved handle that doubles as a side display shelf
- A “lid” or top shelf for plants, kettles, or décor items
- A saucer base for additional storage or decorative items
The whole unit sits in a kitchen corner, transforming an underused space into a stylish focal point.
Why Is It So Popular in UAE Homes?
UAE households tend to be avid coffee drinkers — Nespresso machines, Arabic coffee pots, and a wide variety of specialty coffee equipment are common. The Coffee Corner cabinet gives all of this a dedicated, photogenic home instead of cluttering the worktop. It’s also endlessly customisable, making it the perfect piece for UAE homeowners who want something unique.
Materials and Finishes
At Hanooon, Coffee Corner cabinets are made from a combination of:
- MDF with wood veneer or laminate — smooth finish, ideal for painted or textured looks
- Solid wood panels — premium, warm aesthetic
- Metal frame with wooden shelves — industrial-chic, very popular in 2025–2026
Popular finishes: White, Light Wood (oak or pine), Walnut, Black, and Two-Tone (white with gold metal accents).
