Custom neon signs have become one of the most-requested home and business décor items in the UAE. From a glowing Arabic name above a bed to a restaurant logo that draws Instagram attention, LED neon brings personality and warmth to any space.
This guide answers every question UAE buyers ask before ordering a custom neon sign.
LED Neon vs Traditional Glass Neon — What’s the Difference?
Traditional neon signs use glass tubes filled with gas — they’re fragile, expensive to run, and difficult to repair. LED neon signs use flexible LED strips inside a silicone casing that mimics the look of glass neon, but with key advantages:
- Safer — no glass, no gas, no breakage risk
- Energy efficient — LED neon draws far less power than gas-filled glass neon
- Longer lifespan than glass neon, with no tubes to replace
- Cooler to the touch — no burn risk
- Available in custom shapes, Arabic text, and complex logos
