Glass partitions divide an office into meeting rooms and private offices while keeping daylight across the whole floor. Here is how to choose the right type for your space.
Frameless or framed?
- Frameless partitions use thick clear tempered glass in slim aluminium channels. They look open and modern and suit reception areas and executive offices.
- Black-framed partitions use a thin metal grid. They give an industrial, design-led look and suit creative offices, cafes and co-working spaces.
Privacy options
- Frosted band: a sandblasted strip at eye level, the rest stays clear.
- Fully frosted glass: full privacy with soft light.
- Fluted (reeded) glass: blurs the view behind it and adds texture.
What affects the price
- Total glass area and number of doors.
- Glass thickness and type (clear, frosted, fluted).
- Frame or frameless, and the door hardware.
- Ceiling height and site access.
